Delighted to be invited by Limerick Sports Partnership to partake in the annual SportsAbility Day held in Limerick University Arena. Over 400 participants attended the event of all ages and all ability levels. The LiKe Bikes team were on hand to assist with taster experiences on the disability bicycle fleet on the day. The participants took part in activities they may have never tried before while also making links with local clubs, services and ourselves.
Some of the other taster activities were Wheelchair Hurling, Powerchair Football, Chair Yoga, IWA Boccia, Rowing,Tennis and Go For Life Games.
Like Bikes had our information stand along with other stands from Vision Sports, National Learning Network, Rowing Ireland, IWA and Limerick Sports Partnership to mention a few.
Volunteers chaperoned the participants along with staff members/ parents to make the new experiences as enjoyable as possible. Truly, an amazing day!
