Delighted to supply our fleet of premium bikes to Fáilte Ireland delegates on their Greenway Development trip along the Limerick and Kingdom of Kerry Greenways. The weather was bright and crisp highlighting the lovely flora and fauna along this wonderful amenity we have here in the South West of Ireland. An enjoyable day was had by all. The group finished their journey in the beautiful heritage town of Listowel.
Health Care Programme | Collaboration
A fantastic collaboration with ourselves LiKe Bikes, West Limerick Primary Health Care Project for Travellers and Limerick Sports Partnership. Our six week programme not only encompassed the length of the Limerick Greenway but brought everyone together each week in an outdoor healthy social setting. Bicycle skills were improved upon along with laughter and a weekly digital detox! No week was complete without hot cuppa’s afterwards. A truly enjoyable programme for everyone involved. SportsAbility Day | Limerick Sports Partnership | Sports Inclusion
Delighted to be invited by Limerick Sports Partnership to partake in the annual SportsAbility Day held in Limerick University Arena. Over 400 participants attended the event of all ages and all ability levels. The LiKe Bikes team were on hand to assist with taster experiences on the disability bicycle fleet on the day. The participants took part in activities they may have never tried before while also making links with local clubs, services and ourselves. ‘Kingdom of Kerry Greenways’ official opening today!
Today Minister of State Hildegarde Naughton officially opened the Listowel to Abbeyfeale section of the 'Kingdom of Kerry Greenways'. This fantastic amenity for walkers, wheelers & cyclists is open to locals and visitors. The Minister also opened the Tralee to Fenit section of the 'Kingdom of Kerry Greenways'. Greenways infrastructures are a welcome sustainable option around the country providing connectivity in Greenway regions. The Listowel route of the 'Kingdom of Kerry Greenways' has finally opened to the public. There was huge positivity around this fantastic amenity for Listowel and surrounding communities of North Kerry.
