Town Square
Start in the Town Square where you can visit Listowel Castle, Writers Museum and St. Johns Theatre and Arts Centre.
Childers Park
Next visit the beautiful Childers Park & Woodlands with a wonderful playground for kids, picnic areas, Garden of Europe and River Walk.
Listowel Bridge & Kerry Ingredients
Cross Listowel bridge for beautiful views over the river and along the park, turn right to follow the traffic and pass the birth place of Kerry Ingredients.
Finuge Village & Bridge
Turn right onto the R557 to leave the main N69 and cycle towards Finuge village to visit Teach Siamsa and McCarthy’s Bar. Turn right in Finuge towards the bridge to cross the River Feale once again – a beautiful fishing spot. Turn right to return back towards Listowel town.
The Convent, Teampaillin Bán & Lartigue Monorail Museum
Pass what was the old Convent workhouse and church and is now the Convent School. Turn left at the grotto and cycle 5 minutes to Teampaillin Bán – The Famine Graveyard just past the old railway line on the right. Turn back towards town, taking a left at the John B Keane Road to visit The Lartigue Monorail museum.
John B Keane's Pub or The Square
Finish your adventure at John B Keane’s pub for refreshments or back to the Square in Listowel for a cup of tea at the beautiful landmark Arms Hotel.
